Does 1st Care Community sponsor 482 visas?
1st Care Community holds an Aged Care Industry Labour Agreement, which lets it nominate a carer for a 482 visa in Queensland in home care. Sponsorship means this employer nominates you for a specific full-time position; you cannot apply alone, and the employer pays every visa cost — a fee to you is illegal. Its community-language support is verified on My Aged Care, so a carer who speaks Vietnamese, Korean may qualify for the lower CALD English bar of IELTS 4.5 overall. The agreement runs to 26 March 2029, which covers the two years a 482 needs before the employer can nominate for permanent residency.
Ask about permanent residency before you accept
The 482 is the first step. Permanent residency (the 186) needs 1st Care Community to nominate you again after about two years. The agreement allows it, but each employer decides whether it does. Ask: "Do you nominate carers for the 186 after two years?" The full path to PR
