Does Ram Care sponsor 482 visas?
Ram Care holds an Aged Care Industry Labour Agreement, which lets it nominate a carer for a 482 visa in Queensland in home care. Sponsorship means this employer nominates you for a specific full-time position; you cannot apply alone, and the employer pays every visa cost — a fee to you is illegal. The agreement runs to 19 December 2029, which covers the two years a 482 needs before the employer can nominate for permanent residency.
Ask about permanent residency before you accept
The 482 is the first step. Permanent residency (the 186) needs Ram Care to nominate you again after about two years. The agreement allows it, but each employer decides whether it does. Ask: "Do you nominate carers for the 186 after two years?" The full path to PR
