Does SunnyCare Home Services sponsor 482 visas?

On the listCALD · verified

SunnyCare Home Services holds an Aged Care Industry Labour Agreement, which lets it nominate a carer for a 482 visa in Queensland in home care. Sponsorship means this employer nominates you for a specific full-time position; you cannot apply alone, and the employer pays every visa cost — a fee to you is illegal. Its community-language support is verified on My Aged Care, so a carer who speaks Arabic, Chinese, Greek, Italian, Spanish, Vietnamese, Filipino (Tagalog), Japanese may qualify for the lower CALD English bar of IELTS 4.5 overall. The agreement runs to 23 February 2030, which covers the two years a 482 needs before the employer can nominate for permanent residency.

Ask about permanent residency before you accept

The 482 is the first step. Permanent residency (the 186) needs SunnyCare Home Services to nominate you again after about two years. The agreement allows it, but each employer decides whether it does. Ask: "Do you nominate carers for the 186 after two years?" The full path to PR
